Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy-duty trucks (Code 14) for long-distance freight transport.
- Complete scheduled deliveries across South Africa and neighboring countries (including Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique).
- Conduct vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure cargo properly and monitor its condition during transit.
- Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and border control regulations.
- Accurately complete delivery notes, logbooks, and cross-border documentation.
- Report incidents, delays, or issues promptly to dispatch.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively on all routes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license with a valid PDP (Public Driving Permit).
- Minimum of 1 year long-distance or cross-border driving experience.
- Proven experience operating interlink, tri-axle, and superlink trailers.
- Excellent knowledge of South African and SADC road networks and regulations.
- Clear criminal record and clean driving history.
- Physically fit, reliable, and able to work extended hours or overnight shifts.
