Programme Overview
The SAFCOL Learnership Programme provides a structured learning environment that combines theoretical training with practical on-the-job experience. Successful learners will work alongside industry experts, gaining valuable insights and developing essential skills for a rewarding career in forestry and related sectors.
Fields of Learning May Include:
- Forestry and Silviculture
- Plant Production
- Wood Technology and Processing
- Business Administration
- Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ)
- Human Resources and Finance
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizenship (ID)
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (additional qualifications advantageous)
- Applicants must be unemployed and not participating in another learnership
- Willingness to work in rural/forestry areas and learn in a practical environment
What We Offer:
- A 12-month structured learnership programme with a monthly stipend
- Monthly stipend during the training period
- Nationally recognized NQF qualification upon successful completion
